#45 The Elements I – Air

I thought I would kick off the month of March with a week-long theme on the Elements, both from the Classical (Greek) tradition and from ancient Chinese Philosophy.

To recap: The four Classical Elements are: Air, Fire, Earth and Water; while the five Chinese Elements (五行) are: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.  My posts will not present the elements in order.

The first element is Air, represented on Wythe Ave by an array of air-conditioning units, exhaust pipes and other forms of ventilation.
